Advertising campaign #DatingMuseum
Term 3 Advertising campaign about bringing young people to the museum.
#DatingMuseum an advertising campaign for the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology with the aim to engage young Vietnamese people. The idea was to combine the traditional art and sculptures of Champa and modern graphic works based on those traditional sculptures. The graphic works concentrate on creating funny lines (inspired by memes and dating trends on social media) related to the images, the status of the traditional Cham sculpture. During the process, I’ve learnt about doing research, layout, typography, advertising, copywriting, mock-up and enhancing my photography skill as well as image making.
I came to National Museum of Vietnamese History and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to take photos of Champa sculptures, then visualized my photos into Vapor Wave’s spirit in order to attract young people.
